WIPM attended the 17th Chinese National Magnetic Resonance Conference
The 17th Chinese National Magnetic Resonance Conference and the 4th Cross-Strait Magnetic Resonance Symposium held in Science and Art Center of Xiamen University on October 23 to 26.
There were more than 400 people from mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and North America attended this meeting, the number of participants and the number of submitted papers were at record levels. There were 26 plenary lectures, three special reports for awards in the name of Wang Tianjuan, 80 Oral presentations, 136 Post reports. The conference presented the latest developments in the fields of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear quadrupolar resonance (NQR), and to exchanged ideas/concepts in these fields. Biological NMR studies accounted for a large proportion, fully reflects the status and development trend of the spectroscopic studies. There were more than 70 students and teachers of our institute attended the event, a number of graduate students reported at the meeting.
During the meeting, held a plenary meeting of the Committee of spectroscopy, vote out the three prize-winners of Wang Tianjuan award, Tang Chun, WIPM researcher honored. The WIPM graduate student Ye Yansheng, Qi Guodong and Li Zhao were three of the top 10 honors of poster prize winner.
