WIPM attended the 51st Experimental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Conference
The 51st Experimental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Conference (ENC) was held in Florida between 18th-23rd Apr, 2010. Professor Yulan Wang, Xin Zhou, Jianqing Qiu and PhD candidate Junfang Wu attended the conference.
Prof. Yulan Wang was invited to give a sesson lecture on ¡°Roles of the hyphenated HPLC-DAD-MS/SPE-NMR technique in metabonomics¡±. During the talk, she also introduced the current research in our institute, which gained strong response at the meeting. Prof. Xin Zhou also gave a talk on the ¡°Hyperpolarized Xenon NMR and MRI Signal Amplification by Gas Extraction (Hyper-SAGE)¡±. PhD candidate, Junfang Wu, was given 15 minutes oral presentation on ¡°Progression of the early detection of schistosomiasis using 1H NMR based metabonomics¡± in the session of ¡°Screening and omics¡±.
ENC is an influential international conference in the field of magnetic resonance. Nearly 800 attendances were taken part in this conference. It was reported that more than 100 Chinese people from Wuhan, Hefei, Beijing and overseas Chinese joined this meeting and many of them are WIPM alumni.
